There are those who claim that if you embed a GPL font inside your document, (for example, in PDF, PostScript or LaTeX documents), it might mean you release your document under GPL. The FSF suggest adding an exception to the GPL license to better fit fonts. For more information see the FSF FAQ

MgOpen Greek Unicode fonts are four font families (proportional) with support for Latin and Greek. One of four also supports Ancient Greek (polytonic). They are distributed with the same licence as Bitstream Vera.
